So, I can't be the only one who thinks chocolate goes with everything, but some things just go with chocolate a little bit more than others. While my expertise with chocolate lies solely in the fact that I just love eating it, there's someone I'd trust more to come up with awesome chocolate pairings.

Colocal Cafe's Delhi's first chocolate factory-cafe in Chattarpur that serves up the best hot chocolate I've had and their founder, Sheetal Saxena, expert chocolate maker and like a cooler female Willy Wonka, recommends you pair her chocolates with the following for the best matches made in chocolate heaven, whether you'd like something a bit traditional or modern.

From a 55% milk chocolate variant to an 85% dark chocolate (and many stops in between), Colocal's chocolates are smooth, indulgent and made using extremely high quality cacao beans. They're sweetened with cane sugar and if you're not a plain chocolate kinda person, they have sea salt, caramel and nuts variants, too. I've gone through bars (and bars) of theirs chocolate and totally consider them to be like Lindt but homegrown.

When you add a healthy serving of chocolate to your coffee, you get a cafe mocha which is the best way to have coffee. It's perfect for those of us who love a little sweetness in our coffee and it's super easy to make, too, just add a tablespoon of melted chocolate to your coffee and mix it up.

We at LBB love Maverick & Farmer's coffee but if you need more options, buy India's best specialty coffees here.

Brownie + Chocolate

I've never met a chocolate lover who doesn't love brownies so this one is a no-brainer. You could easily melt some of the chocolate you prefer (milk or dark) and pour it over your brownie for the perfect dessert, especially when it's a little chilly out. Extra brownie points if you heat up the brownie, too (see what I did there?) This brownie mix is easy to whip up and whole wheat so you can add as much chocolate sauce as you want 'case balance.

For a chocolate lover who's also really into fitness, a smoothie bowl topped with chocolate chunks is a really healthy way of not restricting yourself while still enjoying what you love. Make a smoothie bowl with strawberries, frozen banana and top it with some nuts, more fruit and 72% dark chocolate!

Serve up your breakfast in an Insta-worthy bowl, like the ones here.

Another breakfast option Sheetal recommends is putting some chocolate in your granola as the perfect start to your day. Add some nuts and dark chocolate to your morning oats with granola to sweeten it up without adding sugar.

#SomethingDifferent is pretty much our mantra at LBB so this pairing from Sheetal is perfect. For anyone looking to elevate their chocolate eating experience, sea salt brings out the flavour of the chocolate by enhancing its sweetness.

Saving the best for last, this is the OG chocolate pairing all of us have known and loved since we were kids but might've overlooked recently. This is the most comforting dessert we can make at home, all you've gotta do is get a big bowl, spoon and melt your chocolate to put on top.
