What Makes It Awesome

Have a thing for detailing? Do you like every piece of your clothing to say something for you? The Label Studio offers a contemporary clothing line which offers simple, yet nuanced dresses. Their brand philosophy is to make minimal clothing which uses Indian Crafts of dyeing and printing, such as Hand block printing, Bandhej, and other artisanal techniques. The designs, although very specific, are wearable and comfortable, with various sizes for all body types.

Their sourcing for the material is done down to the roots, they buy their fabric from local and small artisans and weavers. They weave their story through these dresses, creating one timeless piece at a time.

They have 4 different collections which separate different dresses as contemporary pieces. These include Ajrakh, which encompasses black and red dresses with earthy undertones. Summer hues include shades of pastel across the colour spectrum with light designs and clean prints. The Spring ’20 includes a series of ethnic patterns, which are intricate yet light with pleats as an addition. Our favourite was perhaps Florance, which included shades of cotton with beautiful block floral prints.

Price: Their collection starts at INR 1,800 and upwards.
