Liberty Village is Champa Gali’s latest claim to fame. Designed like an artsy flea market with lots of wall art, it’s got clothes, shoes, bags, stationery and essence oils. And, when all the budget shopping tires you out, you can find a moment of peace at their cafe, eating makhanas and dimsums.

The Craziest Garage Ever? Yes, It Is!

We usually don’t gush about places, but this one made us want to go on a hyperbole. Liberty Village is everything we love under one roof and with a super-effective AC to keep the heat under control. The first few minutes were spent just soaking in everything the grungy garage has to offer. There’s a tiny section dedicated to baubles, one for stationery and decor, and a massive variety of heels and apparel.

In keeping with the flea market concept, things start as low as INR 150 and it’s an assortment of outfits and accessories gathered from nine designers/vendors. We browsed through racks and racks of clothes, and found flouncy dresses, boho tops, structured jackets, denim skirts, party tops, PJs, maxis and men’s T-shirts and jeans. In fact, we picked up a top for INR 399 and a friend picked up a bodycon dress for INR 500 to sort her out for a last-minute party.

The Craziest Prices Ever? Yes, That’s True

The shoes, in every possible avatar {think stilettos, wedges, kitten heels, espadrilles, gladiators} were priced from INR 399. The stationery table was our next favourite part with notepads, pen stands, wall clocks, mugs, wall plates and the likes with dairies starting at INR 130.

We won’t lie, but even their selection of essential oils called out to us with a cloud of sweet-smelling bottles. But guys, what we loved the most was their wall with visuals from Super Mario. We’d have loved a selfie to rekindle our lost childhood that was spent reuniting the little guy with his princess. And we obviously got ourselves Tibetan Momos and Crinkle Fries from Pho King Awesome’s kiosk. A fitting end to our shopping spree, we’d say.

So, We're Saying...

This flea market doubles up as a co-working space, and it’ll have live music pretty soon {they’re looking for musicians, btw}.

P.S. We’d give the men’s clothes a miss, considering we can find similar tees and PJs at HnM for cheaper. Also, some bigger sizes in clothes would be welcome. We’re trying to diet but for now, we’re hoping they stock up on L and XL as well.
