Cotton and Satins in Meharchand Market is the place to head to if the windows in your house need some pretty curtains, or if your chairs and sofas are in need of a fabric upgrade. They have two stores near each other, one has home decor and soft furnishings like lamps, cushions, vases and beautiful crockery in English colours. And the second is dedicated to fabrics, adorned with rolls upon rolls of cotton fabric that come in a large variety of prints—from sheer white cotton sprinkled with golden birds, to gorgeous florals and block prints (there’s really no dearth of prints to choose from)—if they’re not on display, you can always ask them to open up their fabric booklet and take your pick.
You're not limited to their colour range either, if you like a particular print but would prefer it in another shade, give them 25 days to manufacture a new batch for you (you’ll need to buy a minimum of 15 metres of fabric though). The store also has small furniture items like chairs and side tables. If you have a particular design in mind, they'd be happy to customise that for you.
To make the fabrics really come to life and give you an idea of how the fabric would look at your home, like an experience centre, they’ve dedicated a space showcasing how the fabrics would look in an actual home setting. They’ve done up everything from chairs and sofas to beds and wallpapers.
