We are at home and safe. But there are many, the most vulnerable population, who aren’t and are the worst-hit due to this pandemic and the lockdown. So, if you want to and can help them out in any way, here is a list of organisations that are welcoming donations to ensure food, aid, and medical supplies are provided to people who need them the most. WHO's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund

The fund will enable any individual to support and contribute to the global response efforts. Moreover, the funds will be used for financing protective equipment for frontline health workers, maintain intensive care units, equip diagnostic laboratories, improve surveillance, among others. So go and do your bit.

Milaap Fundraisers

The objective of Milaap Fundraisers include providing food to the daily wagers, create awareness about the virus and the disease, support individuals who need financial help, to name a few. You can be a part of the contribution by extend a helping hand. They have a diverse range of causes from helping daily wage workers, hungry stay dogs, medical emergencies and the like. There's also one for the driver community of Shuttl, so help support a cause, and mitigate those whose livelihoods are at stake. 

Zomato’s Feed the Daily Wager

This campaign by Zomato will provide ration kits worth INR 500. The kit will consist of wheat flour or rice, two types of pulses and a bar of soap required for a family of five for one whole week. It has aimed to raise INR 25,00,00,000 to deliver these kits across 26 cities of the country. So, step in and feed a family.

Safa Society's COVID-19 Relief Kits

Safa Society, a Hyderabad-based social services organisation, has stepped forward to raise money to provide basic necessities for daily wage workers during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Even, Sania Mirza shared a video supporting the cause.

Uday Foundation’s Donate Care Kit For Homeless

Uday Foundation has been raising funds to provide care kits to the homeless. What does the kit include? Well, a hand wash, sanitiser and food items necessary to battle the deadly virus. So be that hero without the cape and help!

N95 Masks For Medical Staff

Facing a supply shortage of masks, medical professionals are battling with Covid-19 and its threat. Literally. If they are risking their lives to save ours, we have to do our bit to save theirs. And the basic is to get a mask for them. For that, all you have to do is donate to PharmEasy.

Give2Asia's Coronavirus Fund

They work with local partners to help frontline workers, who are still going out for us. So far, they have partnered with over 20 non-governmental organisations for the coronavirus response campaign. So be a ray of hope fort hem.

Mission Support Covid Hit Families

The worst-affected during this downtime are the daily wage earners like domestic help, security, among others. To help them out, Give India launched this campaign as an emergency response to provide a safety net to casual labour families. So, show some support!

Hasiru Dala's Help Waste Pickers

Even as the state governments are working to identify active cases of a novel coronavirus, one section of people continues to remain more vulnerable to the disease: waste pickers. Hasiru Dala, a social impact organisation who started an initiative to help them, has identified 1,000 vulnerable waste pickers’ families (no BPL/ration card, no public housing, no predictable income) in six cities/towns in Karnataka who need immediate support. 

PM CARES Fund

Created following the COVID-19 pandemic, you can donate to this fund and it will be used to help contain and combat, and also support the coronavirus outbreak across the country. The fund is set-up to ensure that any future pandemic-like situations can also be battled. 

CM's Relief Funds

You can also donate to Chief Minister's Relief Fund that is available for the various states such as Maharashtra, Odisha, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andra Pradesh have that have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. 

Hope, Not Hunger

The Swiggy and Give India initiative Hope, Not Hunger is set up to ensure that daily wage workers, labourers, and the underprivileged people are fed daily. Through the initiative that fund Swiggy will deliver 5 lakhs meals across the country with its network of kitchens and delivery partners. 

SunPure's Masoom Trust

Set up by MK Agrotech - manufactures of SunPure, Masoom Trust is a registered NGO that's committed to delivering a 30-day supply of essentials to over 7000 poor families and more across Karnataka. Over recent times, the trust has been working in different sectors like healthcare and education to bring relief to less privileged communities. They've donated medical equipment, run health camps, free chemo and more. The Trust has also undertaken efforts in flood relief in Coorg and Kerala as well as adopted 6 govt schools and is taking care of the educational needs of 600 underprivileged students. 

In light of the COVID-19 crisis, they are set to offer relief in the form of Food Kits. Each of the Food Kits will include the following items: Sona Masuri Rice 5kgs, Sunpure sunflower oil 2 Ltr., Sunpure Swaad Atta 5kgs, Sunpure Sugar 1 kg, Toor Dal 1 kg, Salt 1 kg, Lifebuoy Soap 1, Chilli Powder 1 packet, Turmeric Powder 1 packet. To scale up their relief operations, they need more resources and public participation and contribution.
