Creatively Blocked? Retreat To This Community Of Artists In The Himalayas
Get Those Creative Juices Flowing
Tucked away in the beautiful Tirthan Valley, the hostels here are literally made of mud and stone. It can best be described as a home away from home, humble and simple with residents equally contributing to the hostel’s chores. It was started this September by Rahul Kumar, a traveller and a filmmaker who wanted to interact with fellow travellers and creative people.
The Mudhouse Experiential Hostel caters to exactly that, imbibing the spirit of community living while allowing creativity amongst it’s residents to flow freely. They’ve hosted sessions of the Himalayan Writer’s Fellowship, they have stand-up-comedy and open mic nights and artists’ meets. It’s a great opportunity for collaborations, exploring the gorgeous surroundings (their days are spent trekking and fishing) and indulging in some unadulterated, stimulating conversation.
So, We're Saying...
