Cyclin’ Jaipur: Ecotourism with Cycles, Street Food and Havelis

    Kasturi posted on 24 December

Cyclin’ Jaipur, started by two Frenchwomen, is an ecotourism company that covers long routes through Jaipur in a short time. On cycles, of course.

    Hop, skip, jump to Jaipur

Eleonore and Ophelie, two French women entrepreneurs who reside in Jaipur, started this venture a year ago and there has been no looking back. Jaipur, known for its forts, its rich heritage and of course, its art and crafts, has welcomed Cyclin’ Jaipur, its first guided bicycle tours, with open arms.

    Tour happy

The duo have already been featured in a number of travel and guidebooks, including Lonely Planet. In fact, you can read some of the reviews here. They host a bunch of tours for expats and Delhiites, and it has always been a wonderful introduction {or re-experience} to Jaipur in new and different ways. For people attending the Lit Fest, the tour is ideal, for it happens during early mornings.

    Sights and sighs

Cyclin’ Jaipur aims to provide an authentic, yet offbeat view of the past and present, customs and the street food of Jaipur. They also do a traditional breakfast in an old haveli. They have designed three different routes —Pink Royal, Pink Sensations, Pink Inside—that cater to different tastes and needs.
