There’s a three-day Bangla movie fest being held at Sirifort Auditorium this month, with a number of short movies and Q&A sessions with directors and renown personalities.

Anyone who’s a fan of Bengali cinema. The genre is known for it’s hard-hitting storylines, incredible cinematography and some incredible directors. The wonderful creations of Satyajit Ray and Ritwik Ghatak have been etched in history, and have paved the way for new-age Bengali cinema. So, come by and enjoy some great films, meet some incredible directors and interact with fellow Bengali cinema lovers.
Why Should I Go For It?
It’ll help you knock off all those movies you’ve been meaning to watch for so long. The screening includes movies like Tanzil, Chitrakar, Meeting A Milestone-Gautam Ghose’s documentary on Ustaad Bismillah Khan, and more. In addition to these screenings, there are to be question and answer sessions with special guests, a few being Gautam Ghose, Kamaleshwar Mukhopadhyay and Rajesh Dutta. The opportunity to interact with these incredible personalities and discuss their films with them is something every film fanatic would jump at. So you get to watch your favourite movie and then ask the director any questions you have.
