If there’s one thing Delhiites (or North Indians) can’t do without, it’s their tandoori chicken. We asked around, and we know that people don’t take their chicken lightly in this city. Popular opinion says that Rajinder Ka Dhaba serves the best Tandoori chicken in the city. The dhaba itself has been around for years, and is every non-vegetarian’s paradise. Located in Safdarjung Market, it’s hard to get a table in even one of their three outlets around, which doesn’t really make a difference; they’re used to customers eating out of their cars while sipping some chilled beer (BYOB, of course).
The Tandoori chicken is marinated in a perfect blend of spices, hitting all the right notes, and char- grilled to perfection in their trusty tandoor.
Frequented by every age-group and all kinds of crowd, it’s one of the most popular dhabas of Delhi and has grown over the decades. They’re known for their authentic North Indian food and sumptuous non-vegetarian dishes. The tandoori chicken is something everyone who’s visited the dhaba has tried out at least once, and then come back for more. Apart from this particular dish, they serve lip-smacking chicken shawarmas, butter chicken, juicy kebabs, spicy chicken curry and more. Basically, if you love your meat, these guys will do complete justice to it.
Vegetarians, fret not. They've got plenty of (delicious) options for you too. You have to try their achari soya tikka and dahi ke kababa. And if you feel like having some curry dishes, their tawa chaap and dal makhani are to die for.
