The 23rd edition of the Delhi Book Fair is being held in Pragati Maidan and there’s absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t head there ASAP!
From story books, comics and audio-visual stories for kids to religious books in multiple languages, encyclopedias and even reference books for students {yes, you’ll find your good ol’ R.D. Sharma too}, this fair having more than 200 book stalls is a treasure trove of knowledge. The bibliophile in us was overjoyed to discover that hard cover best sellers are being sold for INR 99 only and there’s even an online store – Book Chor that sells secret books wrapped in paper disclosing only a short summary for INR 150. Give them a shot because you just might find your new favourite book!
With endless stacks of paper backs, coffee table books, travelogues and more, the Delhi Book Fair is definitely the paradise of our dreams.
The fair is on till Sept 3 so you might want to rush before all the titles are gone!
PS: Do check out the stationery fair at Hall 12 too. They have recycled diaries, syringe pens and everything that’ll make any stationery addict go weak in the knees.
