What Is It?

Got multiple occasions and festivals lined up but not sure whether to flaunt a sari or not? We think you should!

An amazing three-day exhibition hosted by the Delhi Crafts Council called Sarees Of India 2018 is taking place at the Aga Khan Hall, Bhagwan Das Road from October 11 to 3 and it will have all your sari needs sorted. This exhibition will showcase beautiful prints & hand-woven saris from different parts of the country.

Who Is It For?

Ladies who love ethnic saris and are looking to create a style statement with minimum effort, this will be your haven.

Awesome, Tell Us More

Does watching your mothers and grandmas pull off the seven yards of pure elegance make you happy?  If you too, have been a fan of saris (just like we are) then this exhibition will be your one-stop destination to score ethnic linen saris, pure silk and more!

Delhi Crafts Council will be presenting collections of twenty-two different weavers and designers from different parts of India.
Be it Gujarat’s patola, Telangana’s uppada pattu or the very famous Banarasi silk, what you’ll find is an exquisite collection of delightful craftsmanship from all across the country under one roof! The designs and patterns have been passed down from one generation to another, making them even more special. The talented craftsmen who weave it using traditional ways also maintain its authenticity.

DCC will also be giving out an annual award called the “Sutrakar Samman” to a selected weaver for his/her outstanding capabilities.

Anything Else?

So, call your shopping squad and make this festive season an eventful one.
