For all Delhiites, new and old, young and grey, there’s a new way to see Delhi in all of 20 minutes. Yes, we are indeed talking about the newly opened Delhi eye, adjacent to Kalindi Kunj in Okhla. Modelled after structures in London and Singapore, this 200 ft ferris wheel offers a bird’s eye view of Delhi, highlighting spots such as the Lotus Temple, Akshardham and Humayun’s Tomb. On a good day, you could catch a glimpse of Connaught Place as well!

36 air-conditioned cabins {so you can enjoy it in the sweltering summer that is on its way} constitute the Delhi Eye, and each one can house up to 6 people. Its location is strategic, and hopes to attract more people to a lesser-visited side of town. While it has faced a bout of controversy post its construction a few years ago, it has finally been thrown open to the public, so that you may see Delhi in a whole new light.
