There's always something magical about Ferris wheels — the air up there, the faint butterflies in your stomach, and the view. While a Ferris wheel might be limited to festivals, us Delhi folks are lucky because we have our own version of the London Eye and Singapore Flyer in the form of the Delhi Eye. Situated adjacent to Kalindi Kunj in Okhla, this 148 ft Ferris wheel offers a bird's-eye view of Delhi, highlighting spots such as the Lotus Temple, Akshardham, and Humayun's Tomb. On a good day, you can catch a glimpse of Connaught Place as well!

The entire ride is made up of 36 air-conditioned cabins (perfect for summers too), each with a capacity to hold six people. Its location is strategic, and hopes to attract more people to a lesser-visited side of town. It rotates at about 3 km per hour, which essentially means it takes 20 minutes to complete three whole rounds. While it has faced a bout of controversy post its construction, it has finally been thrown open to the public, so that you may see Delhi in a whole new light.

Timings: Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 8 PM

Price: INR 250 per head, INR 150 for senior citizens, and INR 500 for the VIP cabin.
