And if you are planning to revisit the city or are just finally making attempts to discover the city and be touristy, here is the list of monuments that you can't miss out on your Dilli Darshan.

India Gate

Well, you can't visit Delhi without noting your presence at India Gate. It's a war memorial near Kartavya Path (formerly known as Rajpath) on the eastern edge of New Delhi. It connotes the memory of 80,000 soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the First World War and is featured in almost all Delhi-based films. The space was recently redeveloped and makes for a perfect picnic spot to enjoy with friends and family. Also, the experience is incomplete if you don’t enjoy an ice cream! Vendors might try to sell it to you above MRP, but it's totally worth it.

It is close to Rashtrapati Bhawan and other famous sites that ought to be on your radar. Connaught Place is also nearby, where you can do some shopping and relish the best of Delhi food. Check out our guide here.
