India Today reports that with the help of two of India's largest video networks - Techno Sat Comm and PING Network - the Delhi Metro plans to roll out free Wi-Fi by the second half of the year. The networks will serve content to passengers, work with advertisers, and provide access to high speed internet via a dedicated app.
The app will also display real-time location, approach and destination stations, to help commuters navigate their way between different lines. This is all in addition to the entertainment and city-based content passengers can enjoy.
