Delhi Metro’s Kalkaji To Botanical Garden Corridor Will Be Open By End Of The Month

Delhi Metro—the gift that keeps on giving. We might just be getting another little gift from the DMRC at the end of the month {early Christmas present maybe?}. The Kalkaji-Botanical Garden Metro corridor has been cleared after safety inspections and will open sometime at the end of this month.

The new metro line will bring down travel time between South Delhi and Noida and will prove to be a much needed direct link between the two areas. No more changing trains at the Mandi House station.

This corridor will also use a new technology which will reduce waiting times and move trains at a frequency of 90–100 seconds. Sounds good to us. So, if you’ve got to make regular work commutes between South Delhi and Noida, you’re better off slicing through all the traffic with this new metro line.

The exact launch date is yet to be announced.
