If you’re someone who feels that they’ve spent most of their life travelling in metros from one corner of the city to another {we hear you Dwarka and Noida folks}, this news is going to make life so much easier for you.

Botanical Garden metro station in Noida has now become an interchange station on the Magenta Line {Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden} cutting down the travel time by 45 minutes when commuting from Noida to south Delhi stations like Kalkaji Mandir and Nehru Place.

The expansion of the Magenta line will also help people commute from Noida to Gurgaon in just 50 minutes {previously, 1.5 hours} with the interchange at Hauz Khas metro station, and from Botanical Garden to the domestic terminal of IGI Airport in 40 minutes.

The first section on the Magenta line that is, from Botanical Garden to Kalkaji Mandir, is operational now; so just think of all the extra sleep you can get!
