It's been over a year since the Supreme Court decided to uphold Section 377 {which basically criminalises consensual sex between two people of the same gender}. But that has in no way silenced the vibrant LGBT community throughout India. That's why we have started a list of places to meet other LGBT and LGBT friendly people in a safe space and social environment, right here in Delhi.
Queer Delhi Party
Previous parties have been hosted by friendly restaurants and bars like Guppy by Ai in Jor Bagh, Sky Lounge in CP, and Mocha Lounge in Defence Colony Market. Entry is usually INR 600, but that generally includes a free drink. Previous parites have also been able to raise money for causes such as Chandigarh Pride.
When: Generally every Saturday, unless there is a special occasion {for example Pride}

Pegs 'n' Pints
Previously located in Chanakyapuri, this famous Tuesday night party venue has now conveniently moved over to Hauz Khas Village. Usually starting with contemporary tracks and moving onto Bollywood tunes, this is a perfect night out to cure those early to mid-week blues.

Delhi LGBT Professionals Group
This group is perfect for any working individual looking to meet like-minded, forward thinking, professionals across a variety of career sectors. Usually held at a member's house or other venue, members of this group meet over drinks and nibbles to socialise, as well as to professionally network. Certainly beats the usual water cooler conversation.

Queer Campus Delhi
For all those students out there, Queer Campus Delhi is a great and safe place to meet with other LGBTQ students and allies from colleges and universities across Delhi. Usually they start with discussions {previous topics have included 'what are normal relationships?' and 'what is beautiful?' etc.} and and move onto a cafe for food and mingling.
