Summer To Monsoon: You Need To Get These Not-So-Basic Flip-Flops!

Here’s a style update - flip-flops are back BIG time. Flip-flops used to be all of our go-tos for everything from hot beachy weather to rainy season, just because of how durable and comfortable they were. Well, it’s time you and I get ready to embrace the same shoe silhouette again, albeit in a much cuter way. Desig-N-ation, an online brand, has a collection of handmade flip-flops with tons of embellishments like tassels, pom poms, and, my personal favourite, shells which make me wish I could go to the beach. 

I got the flip-flops with shells (duh) on one side and a gold chain on the other. They’re definitely not basic and I was honestly surprised by the quality considering the affordable price tag these came with. They’re also not slippery so I can easily rush out wearing these when I’m late. I also really like how they don’t have the typical rubber look flip-flops tend to have, and with the embellishments, which makes them so much more wearable beyond running errands or at home; you could easily wear them with a summer dress or kurti even.

Maybe I’m just clinging to late 90s, early 2000s fashion but heeled flip-flops would be such a welcome addition. 

They also have a bridal collection which would be such a cute gift to send for a bridal shower (while you watch them open the gift on Zoom, am I right?)
