They’ve got a lot of designers who are in the business of reinventing age-old crafts by working at the grassroot level. So, you’ll see a lot of unusual products with a quirky, unconventional spin.
It’s a great place for everyone who likes a sunny day of shopping. If a wardrobe/home makeover is on the cards, that’s even more reason to plan an outing to this place.
Why Should I Go For It?
While Dastkar has a different theme once a month, the Design Fair is an annual festival that focuses on getting designers who work closely with craftsmen, and not just craftsmen working independently. This year, they also have artisans who have now graduated to being entrepreneurs {these folks received training in marketing and branding from Somaiya Kala Vidya in Kutch}. This year, you’re going to meet them as well.
