Craving beautiful desserts that remind you of cafes by the Seine in Paris? Well, while I cannot give you Paris on a platter, I can certainly nudge you to try Bisou by S, for home baked desserts on a platter! Started by Shivani Malhotra (who learned the art of baking in Orange County, Los Angeles) to originally pamper friends and family, Bisou (meaning kiss in French) is now a delivery only bakery that aims to make desserts “taste better than they look”. Meant to be decadent and really give you the creme de la creme of desserts, don’t expect the usual suspects on the menu. Instead, think Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake or cupcakes, and indulgent chocolate cakes. There is also a Classic Vanilla Cake with a hint of hazelnut and of course, the subtle and strong winner of chocolate cakes - the Belgian Chocolate Cake! Made with imported Callebaut, from the heart of Belgium, no less.
I particularly love how Shivani used plenty of Lotus Biscoff in her desserts. Be it on the full cakes, cupcakes or on the cheese cakes. Nothing like a good dessert with caramelised biscuits! She’s also happy to make cupcakes to your liking, with different types of icing to make it more personalised. Currently, you can get Nutella, Biscoff and Belgian Chocolate ones. If you want just good old brownies, there are the House Brownies too with dollops of extra fudge because fudge makes everything better.
