What Makes It Awesome?

Diggin is one of my favourite eateries in Delhi. With two outlets (Chanakyapuri and Anand Lok) in the city, the one in Anand Lok is my go-to. There’s something unexplainably beautiful about this place. Not only does it offer an amazing range of scrumptious appetisers, pizzas, risottos, mocktails, and more, this two-floor restaurant has one of the most gorgeous outdoor setups. There are fairy lights, flowers, a swing, and climbers on walls and the staircase. And as someone who loves fairy lights and all things pretty, I totally DIG this place.

Even though the indoor setup is subtler (no fairy lights or plants) than the outdoor space, it’s pretty nonetheless. As you enter the restaurant, you’ll notice the wall art of a tree on your right and the counter in the front. The staff here is welcoming and cooperative; they make sure you have a great time.

And while I have a fixed order - classic margarita and peach iced tea for every time I go to Diggin, I always try to order something new. You should try the baked goat cheese; it’s one of their specialities, cheesy jalapeño poppers served with home-made chilli dip, and the vegetarian lasagne. The food is cooked (and baked) to perfection, and it's always well-presented. And their apple crumble pie is heavenly.

Pro-tip: Visit the place in the evening to relish delicious food with a stunning view.
