Dilli Durbar is an Indian classical music fest that's happening on Match 16 and 17 at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts. The music fest is calling upon classical music lovers, poetry preachers, and those gaga over ghazals. There'll be live performances by some formidable names such as Ustad Rashid Khan, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Ustad Shahid Parvez and others.
The festival, in addition to soulful music, will also have talks and discussions about the classical music industry with music maestros like Kailash Kher, Piyush Mishra, Javed Ali taking to the stage.
Movie buffs, rejoice, for there'll be documentary and film screenings at the fest as well (all related to music, of course), and if you're feeling a little extra melodious, there'll be an open mic waiting for you to pour your heart out.
And hey, since no music festival is complete without food, you'll be treating yourself to proper Purani Dilli Ka khaana.
