For quick and easy to make craft projects, check out Easy Kids Crafts on YouTube. This kids craft channel has tons of videos with step by step instructions that you can follow. From making a paper rat to making the best mommy brooch, there’s a lot that you and your child can make together. They also have a website and blog with step by step instructions for you to refer to. Though, we honestly prefer videos.
Red Ted Art
Another YouTube channel that you can bookmark is Red Ted Art. They have a dedicated playlist with videos on ideas to keep boredom away while staying indoors. Make Easter egg baskets, bookmarks, pop-up books and more with tutorials from this channel. They also have videos that teach you and your child to make bath bombs, newspaper roll frames and wealth out of waste projects as well.
Mad Stuff With Rob
M.A.D! Music, Art & Dance! We all remember this show that we used to watch as kids on Pogo, right? Rob, our childhood hero now has a YouTube channel that you and your kid could make full use of. From DIY papercut batman to DIY Balloon Orbs, there’s so much that you can make your kids learn and you can do it with them too. There are videos for kids of all age groups that Rob puts up. There’s DIY Shoe Painting with Hydro Dip Painting, making a Rubik's cube and a few dance lessons too.
Deep Space Sparkle
Looking to teach your kid to draw, colour or paint? Then, check out Deep Space Sparkle, a YouTube channel that has easy tutorials on various techniques of drawing, colouring, and painting that are super kid-friendly. There are tutorials that use tempera paint, watercolors, pastels and markers and simple supplies that you already have at home. We are talking about drawing and colouring sparkly unicorns, sea turtles and flowers among others.
