Spread across a massive 1.5-acre space, Dolina Retreat is a homestay hosted by a retired Merchant Navy officer who has beautifully done up this space in a span of 10 years while not disturbing the natural ecosystem around. These folks have four lovely cottages, The Oak Cottage, The Mistletoe Cottage, The Walnut Cottage and Walnut Grove Tree House & Spa. Each offering a distinct (and magnificent) view of the mountain they're built on. The first two cottages have two bedrooms with spacious livings rooms and a fireplace each. Walnut Cottage and Treehouse have one luxurious room each in addition to an outdoor seating area, a splendid balcony and yes, a spa room!
We were sold at the jacuzzi, sauna and massage bed in the treehouse. Imagine sipping wine while overlooking the dreamy tall trees and lush green mountains! Exactly what we need to unwind and wash away the city madness. They have a huge walnut orchard, badminton court, hammocks to sleep on and two squishy Himalayan Sheepdogs to keep you occupied and miles away from your gizmos. What's not to love here?
