If you’re a bookworm, you’re constantly adding new books while letting old ones be buried under. Right? We feel you. The pain of parting with books, no matter how old, is heartbreaking and so, you keep hoarding endlessly.

To put an end to this separation anxiety, we’re presenting you with the next best case scenario: Donate them at this drop-off drive and 50 libraries across the country will use them to educate the underprivileged.

This initiative is Katha {a Delhi-based NGO that champions the cause of education by the way of stories} and Aghaaz and Aseem Foundation’s attempt at making these old story books accessible for children who’d otherwise lose out.

What you need to do is simply collect your reading material {make sure your childhood books aren’t tattering or dying} and drop it off at India International Centre. The NGOs will take them directly from there. Meanwhile, you can rest assured that your beloved books are in the right hands. You’re making a kid’s childhood full of beautiful stories.

When: Jul 27; 9am – 6pm

Where: India International Centre
