Winners don’t do different things, they do things differently! After 2 months of nominations, user votes and jury votes, we're finally LIVE with our list of India's most loved, emerging consumer brands have made it to the Top 50 Emerging Brands 2019 powered by PLAY.

Apparel

Postfold: They set out to change the norm and create designer quality apparel at affordable prices, offering clothes that are versatile, and that can be worn to work, after work or on a Saturday night.

Spiritual Warrior:  This brand creates athleisure that are a perfect blend of beauty, quality and sustainability. Their yoga mats are loved and come highly recommended.

Suta: This saree brand (though they offer much more), has become a user favourite for their mulmul sarees! They make sarees from the scratch that you won't be able to say no to.

Sunaina Khera: Celebrity favourite- and festive wear favourite- Sunaina Khera's sarees, gowns, lehengas and dresses have taken over Instagram. Her focus on embroidery and artisanal techniques deserves a special mention. 

Bareek: Dudes, if you don't have a Bareek shirt... you don't have a Bareek shirt?! This menswear brand celebrates all things local and artisanal- loom towns across India, of breathability and comfort, of unstinting quality and heritage patterns reimagined for today's day and age. 

The Jodi Life: Another celebrity and working girl favourite, The Jodi Life has handcrafted & hand-blocked printed clothing and is made in India. They have something for everybody in their range for women, men and home.

The August Co.: The August Co creates office and every day lifestyle wear specifically for Indian women. Known for their diversity in sizes and their use of ikat and Indian fabrics, their collaboration with Pooja Dhingra on Shop on LBB launched them into the spotlight. 

Label Raasleela: Raasleela is a metaphor for playfulness and their clothes are exactly that. Fun colors, quirky designs, comfortable cuts and affordable prices in the form of contemporary Indian clothing. Ladies, get a hold of their polka dot co-ord sets.

Shop Mulmul: A harmonious marriage of serene embroidery work with the softest cotton fabric, Mulmul redefines affordable luxury. Their ready-to-wear outfits have been intricately embroidered and designed. Their USP is soft mulmul fabric. 

Saaksha And Kinni: The label is just two years old and was built around an emphasis to create impactful and comfortable occasion wear. Their bold prints, metal and stone embroidery techniques and love of Indian fabrics like chanderi, have put them into the spotlight!

The Burlap People: They create and develop handcrafted, eco-friendly bags using Burlap. From functional totes to backpacks, they've got user love for their focus on sustainable designs and fabrics.

Sasha Eyewear:  A homegrown brand which is environmental friendly and passionate about creating trendy wooden eyewear. They've been selling out at local exhibits; and keep their promise of trendy, functional and long-lasting eye wear.

Shop Lune:  The brand’s best-selling pieces are their signature celestial designs in sterling silver, solid gold and reclaimed brass with gold plating. They're loved for their minimal jewellery, stunning story-telling... and their new store is one of Mumbai's most Instagrammable haunts. 

Desi Hangover:Their focus on reviving Indian crafts and footwear styles is exemplary!  All their shoes are handcrafted by the artisans of Chambhar community, thus giving them a platform to showcase their 800-year-old art form. 

Chiaroscuro: Their beautiful bags are single-artisan made, with skilled craftsmanship, and attention to detail. You can customize and personalise to your needs, and make your bag a reflection of your style. Keep your eyes on this brand if you love all things (upcycled) leather.

Cafes & Restaurants

La Loca Maria: This eatery brings tapas & Spanish food to Mumbai! Each individual dish delivered is on taste, texture and presentation equally. We love the Chef's homage to his mum (as seen in the decor); and his ability to deliver on Spanish comfort food for an Indian palate. 

The Funnel Hill Creamery: This dessert parlour has all of Delhi hooked to its creamy, flavourful and fun ice-creams!

The Prodigal Farms: The Prodigal Farm brings the best of all worlds together- farming, community and food, through their experiential farm in Noida. You can farm your own veggies and eat fresh food, to their weekly pop-up at Sunder Nursery where they serve delectable food.

Ishaara: Ishaara is a modern Indian restaurant that cooks food for the senses. They're known for their experimental but comforting traditional Indian food, and stunning ambience. The restaurant hires differently-abled people and trains them in hospitality.

Burgerama: Burgerama is taking over Delhi by storm with their delectable burgers and fries! Keep an eye out for their delivery services expanding across Delhi. 

Uno Mas: Uno Mas has brought iconic Spanish inspired Tapas, Paellas and delectable cocktails to BKC (Mumbai). A user and Chef favourite, their interiors teleport you to Spain; but the star attraction continues to be their ace food.

Earth Collective: Truly game-changing in what they've been able to do, Earth Collective has created a community of small brands and businesses making sustainable, healthy, organic and vegan products. 

Cafe Quaint Jaipur: Cafe Quaint inside JKK (Jawahar Kala Kendra) is one of those lovely places where you can find some down time amidst Jaipur's maddening crowds.
