In an attempt to retain the regional identity, this Manipur-based tea brand has something unique to offer. Inspired by her grandmother's herbal (and effective) recipes for treating ailments, Eli Chaoba, a Wonderwoman in the truest sense, launched Dweller Teas. A brand that retails organic teas in various blends. Apart from a quaint little cafe in Manipur, they have an online store as well.
Folks at Dweller's use indigenous fruits and herbs for creating their own blends of herbal teas. The naturally grown ingredients are sourced from local female farmers and vendors. Currently, they have ten flavours of teas, each having its own traditional health benefit.
Dweller's Fruity Roselle Olive Tea is the most loved amongst those who have tried it. And we have a hunch it's going to be our favourite too, not just because of its mesmerizing red colour but also the citrusy, floral note it offers. The Nong-mang-kha Ginger Green Tea helps fight cold, cough and fever - the ultimate potion during winters. If you favour black over green tea then their Refreshing Hei-mang Tea makes for a delightful after-meal. For smooth digestion, try out their Garcinia Green Tea which is lemony and extremely light (also our next detox drink). Other blends offered by Dwellers are Ginger Green, Classic Red, Lemongrass Ginger, Pure Lemongrass, Gentle Green and Strong Black Tea.
These are available to purchase in three packs - Sample (3 tea bags), Individual (18 tea bags) and Everday Pack (50 tea bags). They are priced at INR 50, 190 and 390 respectively. Pretty economical for the kind of benefits these herbal teas offer.
