Shortcut

Gurgaon has a new addition that is located at Golf Course Road and it goes by the name of Elemenopi. It’s the perfect place for good food, great drinks and long conversations that are not drowned by blaring music.

A Dreamy Ambience

Located at One Horizon Center, Elemenopi is the newbie in Gurgaon that you’ve got to check out on days you want comforting, cosy surroundings that are well-suited for long conversations. The space’s classic mixture of black, brown and orange, with black and white floors make for a rather satisfying Instagram post. The tangerine-tinted walls, lamps placed on every table, fancy chandeliers and a bar with a collection bigger than you can imagine will put you at ease immediately. What we loved about this place was that, when they mention they’re your guys for casual dining, they really mean it. The music was great and not too loud, allowing us to continue with our conversation over the perfect dinner. The place is great for a squad reunion, and definitely for a date.

The Perfect Meal

You’ll find Continental, European, Italian, Mediterranean and Moroccan food here, which means that even the pickiest eater you know will have plenty of options to choose from. We started with the meat ball and spinach soup, chicken and couscous salad and Minestrone Al La Genovese {an Italian soup made from seasonal vegetables and pasta} which were all made perfectly {and pretty healthy as well}. Next, we moved to the Fondue Savoyarde {cheese fondue served with bread cubes} which was creamy and tasted so wonderful that we just didn’t want it to finish. For those who want to cut down on their calorie intake, opt for the Vegetable Trifolati, which is a spicy mix of everything healthy {think broccoli, mushroom, sundried tomatoes, onions and chilli flakes tossed in olive oil. You’ve got to try their patatas bravas the ‘Elemenopi’ way with zingy, minced chicken {we’re planning on stealing that recipe} filled into potato jackets.

For drinks, you’re going to find a lot of options in terms of brands and prices, be it beer, whiskey, wine, vodka, rum, gin or cocktails. We had a whiskey-based cocktail called the Blueberry Sour and let’s just say we enjoyed every sip of it. The gin based Tangy Flowertini was also quite refreshing, and is actually the perfect drink after a heavy day of work. But it was the Appletini that really got us asking for more with the perfect mix of cucumber and green apple.

So, We're Saying...

If you’ve been looking for a place that has well-crafted drinks, great food and the kind of ambiance that ignites conversation, head to Elemenopi at One Horizon Center.
