Shortcut
Lounge While You Wait
Elitaire reminds you of a very classy up-market lounge; agreat place to have a good read or chat with your partner while the chef prepares the delicious food for you. The place is a definite beauty when it comes to decor.
Decode The Menu While You Wait
Once the table is set-up you are presented with a menu but it isn’t an ordinary one. There are riddles in them {written by the chef himself} which you can decipher as to what the dish might be while you wait for the food. It’s quite unique and a great way to keep you busy while waiting for the food.
Coming to the food, we loved the Facto Fermented Beetroot Juice. It is a refreshing way to start a meal for sure. There are a host of appetisers to try out, like the fresh milk curd stewed carrots.
For the mains, we tried the Tawa Chicken Brulee and Maharashtrian Koliwada Shrimps. The best of the menu definitely goes out to the Lamb In The Forest with Charred Leek. For dessert, we recommend you try the Story about the Ber, which is a set of indian plum presented in different techniques {what a way to end the dinner!}.
Around The World On your Wine Glass
The dishes are paired with different wines starting with a glass of Sileni Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand to a Niel Joubert Pinotage from South Africa and goes on to end with a Chandon Rose from India along with the desserts.
Anything Else?
The Lounge is open to the public only on Saturdays. Aptly named Epic Cuisine, this menu has a certain elegance to it that will make you want to come back to it again and again.
