No Loud Music: Take Your Coffee Loving Date To This Quiet Spot In Satyaniketan

Shortcut

Espress-o-ville is one of the many cafes in Satyaniketan which is a world away from dingy, pub-like places that tend to follow college campuses wherever they go. Plan your next waffle date here if you’re someone who likes conversation over crowds and board games or blaring music.

Coffee Makes Everything Nice...

We like that it’s small and bathed in white and turquoise {two of our favourite colours together}. It of course helps that the cappuccino and iced frappe is made with a lot of heart.

The menu is kind of extensive for a cafe that’s hoping to call out to the typical college goer. So you’ll find everything from fancy Japanese teas to simple paneer wraps. Of course, there’s pizza, pasta and a comforting bowl of lasagna but know what’s really winning a lot of hearts? Something they call Maggie Ball Fiesta. And, the Tiramisu Caramel Shake that’s unicorn and rainbow in a glass. Or there’s the mojito that they make really well.

Also, morning dates will become a thing with their English Breakfast trays. Here’s what we’re rooting for: Cappuccino French Toast.

Books, Bae & Banter

If you expect super speedy, McDonald’s type delivery, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. This cafe was meant to idle away time and makes you feel like it’s a totally sweet thing to do. So, whether you’re after a good conversation over milkshakes or just want to kill some time because bae, as usual, is running late, you’ll be in the good company of books.

Grab a heap of cheesy nachos and make conversation like two real, sweet humans.

So, We're Saying...

Got to admit that the prices aren’t exactly college student-friendly but we still think it’s great for those few times when you’re feeling less broke and dreamy-eyed.

Now go, espresso your love freely.
