We Found Alternatives Of All The Shades Of Estee Lauder X Sabyasachi Lipsticks!

Coffee Masala is a shade that is out there but also quite sophisticated to wear every day. The ultra matte shade is inspired by the earthy, warm, toasty robust coffee found in the southern part of India. It's an intense deep brown that would especially look great on deeper skintones. The Swiss Beauty in the shade Chocolava is one of the bestsellers and a very close match to Coffee Masala. The formula is also super hydrating, comfortable to wear and long-lasting.

Tropical Tangerine is inspired by the fresh tangerines and the bygones of the summer. Honestly, we don't think this is their most Indian skin-tone-friendly shade and not one that we gravitate towards, but we get why people like it. Lakme's Cushion Matte in the shade of Orange Blossom is almost the same match as this, which is infused with French rose oil extracts so it's hydrating and comfortable to wear. It glides on super smooth and is perfect for days when you need that pop of colour.

Apricot Silk is a satin matte shade, which we think is perfect for daily wear. It's an elegant, warm, and decadent colour with a hint of tawny rose and a sheen of fine silk. The closest finish we found is the Huda Beauty Power matte lipstick in the shade Wedding Day. We've always been huge fans of Huda Beauty Bullet lipsticks not only because of their stellar shade range but also because of the amazing formulation for one swipe application.

As we said, Huda Beauty encompasses a great range of shades, and we believe their Rendezvous is a pretty close match to Pomelo Rose by Sabyasachi. It gives the same sultry, tropical, and languid vibe with a rose-pink undertone, which has the potential to become your go-to summer shade. 

Udaipur Coral is influenced by the serene city of lakes, Udaipur. It's a fresh, bright pink colour that's perfect for when you want a pop of colour but don’t want a loud lip. The Peachy Affair from the Lakme 9 to 5 range is a pretty close dupe. The lipstick is enriched with vitamin E, cocoa, and shea, making it hydrating to wear. It's also transfer-proof and water-resistant, with a weightless formula that provides a 16-hour matte finish.

Rouge Bengal is another quintessential Sabyasachi shade. It's glamorous, bright, bold, and dramatic, with a satin matte finish. L'Oreal Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipstick in the shade French Kiss delivers the same timelessness. The Infallbibe range is smudge-proof and infused with hyaluronic acid, so even though the finish is super matte, it still hydrates and nourishes your lips. 

Pinks can be quite tricky for Indian skin tones, but Devi Pink seems like a good balance and one that would actually look great. We think that Kay Beauty's lipstick in the shade House Full is a very similar pink. It's got a velvety luxe texture that almost feels like a highly pigmented lip balm. Plus, it protects your lips from sun damage too.

Bombay Berry might just be our favourite of all. It's a very deep brown with hints of berry, and would look great on all skin tones and undertones. The shade is reminiscent of Bollywood glam and stardom and is as iconic as the red one. We think Sugar's Tan's Helen (Chocolate Brown) is the perfect dupe for this one, offering a premium finish on the lips with the same hints of berry and brown. We've used this one and loved it. It gives you intense pigmentation with just one swipe and is matte yet comfortable to wear.

Last but not least, we all expected something 'chai' out of this collaboration, and Muslin Tea really came through. It is a unique nude that seems like it would look good on all skin tones. Colourbar's vegan matte lipstick in the shade Bitch Kiss is a very close match that is enriched with the goodness of Vitamin E and tea tree oil.
