What Makes It Awesome

EVOO Eatery & Pizzeria is the cool kid on the block when it comes to Italian comfort food. They’ve got the most flavour-packed pizzas, sandwiches, pastas and an Italian Sandwich called the Panuozzo, and they’re the first ones to bring it to the country. We've certainly missed eating at EVOO amidst their minimalistic decor and with a view of their huge wood-fired pizza oven, but it makes us super happy to know that we can get a glimpse of it now that EVOO is open for takeaway from 12 to 8 PM!

When it comes to the food, EVOO does almost everything in-house—from the bread to the toppings, everything’s amazingly fresh, and the delicious food backs that claim. We tried the Lamb Meatball Panuozzo, which is a soft Italian sandwich filled with meat, cheese, olive oil, and marinara sauce; a creation they claim to have brought to the country for the first time ever.

We also tried the Pork Calabrian Pizza, a wood-fired treat, topped with fresh toppings, cheese and sprinkled with olive oil. It’s safe to say we were in a bit of a food coma after the first bite. We also loved the Sundried Tomato Arancini which was cheesy and perfectly fried. They've also got pastas on their takeaway menu, we love their handmade linguine which complements almost all sauces really well.

Price: INR 750 per person

What Could Be Better

They only have their Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt Pot de Cremeux on the menu, so if you're not a mousse fan, you won't have another dessert to choose.

Pro-Tip

They have gluten-free options as well—just ask!

PS: The owner told us why they named it EVOO. It’s an abbreviation for Extra Virgin Olive Oil—the base ingredient used in Italian cooking.
