Wilderness And Heritage
Away from the city, the resort is nestled in the Aravallis and is deeply rooted in the art and culture of Rajasthan. The property has been done up in a classic palatial style and uses Rajasthani pink sandstone, bani thani art and langa folk singers to complete the vibe. The property has 81 rooms and suites combined; each room has a traditional jhoola and private balcony that faces either the inner courtyard of the resort or the wilderness outside {you’d usually wake up to peacocks if you’re on that side}.
The property offers quick in-room facilities, and also has a great gym and spa area apart from the beautiful pool area. While we wouldn’t really suggest wasting your time in the gym, you can take some time out for their amazing spa services {the deep tissue massage is amaze!}. Food wins big, too, as the resort serves a mix of all our continental favourites with the unique and fiery flavours of Rajasthan.
The Outdoors
The property might be in the middle of nowhere, but it still has a lot you can experience; go for a morning trek on the hills, enjoy a sundowner near the tiny dunes in the area, or just wander about in the wilderness {where you can also dine under the stars next to a bonfire}.
People who want to explore further can visit Pushkar, Ajmer Sharif or drive down to Kishangarh fort for a peek into the royal past. The resort would be ideal if you’re visiting the Pushkar camel fair, as well as makes for a perfect location for your destination wedding.
Points For Hospitality
Every other hotel can offer pretty much what this one does, but what keeps them in the lead is the amazing hospitality. The General Manager Nagendra Singh Hada is a charismatic man who is not only a great storyteller, but also the perfect person to reach out for when you want to know anything about the area’s past and its rich cultural heritage. Another person who you should ask for is Himanshu, a steward who not only will always serve you with a smile, but will also remember little details like your choice of drink or what you prefer for your breakfast, which just make the experience better.
So, We’re Thinking…
This resort with all its beauty and modern amenities is a must visit. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it’ s an experience which should not be missed.
