The Fairmont Hotel in Jaipur is perfect for anyone looking to run away from the city and squeeze in a quick staycation. This luxury hotel is a bloggers dream come true. From beautiful staircases to sandstone buildings and stark white domes against clear blue water structures, the whole place is a royal affair. Your welcome is in itself going to be so extravagant with massive royal dhols and folk singers welcoming you with classical music, after which they give the guests the Rajasthani turban and bangle.

While the rooms are definitely larger than life and come with panoramic views, you'll want to spend most of your time outside of them because the rest of the hotel is a stunning enough draw. Although this doesn't apply to the terrace suites, as you would not want to leave those at all. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and gives you a chance to enjoy the sunrise and sunset every single day. You'll find most of your time in the room being whiled away in the washroom — it's legitimately the size of the room itself. It's spacious vintage-royal, and any tub-junkie will lose their mind at the enormous, coconut shell-shaped structure smack dab in the center with him and her basins and a separate bath for the two.

When you step out, there's a lovely spa, called Ruhab (one of the best in the city, for certain) for anyone who wants to partake in the relaxing activities, we would recommend the masseuse Sasha for she is super sweet and is extremely skilled. Along with the spa you will also get to enjoy their sauna, steam room, and a steam bath. They also have a fully-equipped gym. The hotel also arranges a morning trek with the special trek trainer, Shahid, for their guests, and genuinely the experience was one that would stay with you for you will get to spot the Sagar Lake and all the beautiful forts. The view would definitely be worth waking up at 7.

Now, coming to the food. The restaurants and tea bars aren't just for eating, they are for inundating people's feeds with jealousy. From a curated high tea at their tea lounge to a drink at their very unique library bar Aza, you'll find yourself delighting in both flavours and photographic value. Our favourite was the all-day dining, Zoya. They had some truly fantastic staples on the menu, of which the Chole Poori/Kachori for breakfast along with Museli jar, Yum Cha menu, Lal Maas, and Desi Citiwalla Kukkad stood out most, with the Sticky Date Pudding being the star of the dessert section. You can also get a private dinner arranged by the hotel at an additional cost and pick from their menu, we’d recommend you try their Rajasthani Thaali and their larger-than-life desserts. What stands out about the hotel is the fact that it gives employment to the women in the neighborhood where Fairmont is located, from the bread chefs to spa cleaners, you can spot a bunch of women in their staff. The hotel also offers in-room tiffin services for you to enjoy the amazing food without having to step out.

Apart from all of this, the hotel also has a shopping arcade for you to indulge in some retail therapy, they have a theater room for you to send your kids to for some (much-needed) alone time or time with your partner. After all of this, for all the larger-than-life weddings you can book the entire place, their entire wedding banquet hall is a royal affair and if you want to have that kind of wedding, they will make all your wedding dreams come true.
