I'd read a bunch of reccos about AnnaMaya on LBB and finally decided to make the trek to Aerocity/Andaz to dig right into what farm to table in Delhi looks like. And Annamaya hit it out of the park.
Though it's pretty expensive, they've gone all out to source and support local farmers and initiatives that bring the best {in some cases, organic} locally grown ingredients to the table. I spent a good 15 minutes going through all the farms they curate their produce from {given on the menu}. Cutting straight to the chase - the food is excellent. From the freshly made focaccia with burrata and sun-dried tomatoes, the salmon and avocado on rye bread toast, and an epic chicken tikka seasoned with cinnamon, their food is the highlight. We ended our meal with a decadent peanut butter cheesecake selected from their section of freshly baked desserts.
Even better? They serve drinks from their bar, Juniper, at Annamaya. Stick to their signature cocktails {one of them is pictured} - they're all really good. My favourite cocktail was this coconut milk and gin-based drink - tasted like a cool kids version of lassi. Terrible description, I know. But epic cocktail.
