Winning For
The satisfying food and the quick service are clear winners here. The restaurant has stays full most of the times {which says a lot}.
Southy Binge
The food prepared here borrows from different parts of South India, and doesn’t really just fixate on one sub-region, which actually helps in making the menu expansive and versatile. The flavours are balanced and so are the portions, and the quality of the food has remained unchanged in the decade’s worth of dining we have done here.
Apart from the dosas, idlis, uttapams and vadas, one can also indulge in the speciality dosas or treats from the rice corner, which offers options based on time of the day or day of the week.
We tried the 14 Mini Idli Sambar & Ghee and absolutely loved it {you’d love it too}. The Panchavarna Uttapam also proved to be a hearty dish, with five varieties of uttapam served with sambar and chutney. The Appam with Side Dish serves the fermented rice pancake with a special dish that changes every day, and is probably one of the most satisfying and light eats on the menu.
For those looking for some comfort food, the sambar rice proves to be the best bet. Their buttermilk and filter coffee are a must try too!
So, We’re Thinking…
Be sure to try this out {if you haven’t already, of course}! It promises authentic food which does not disappoint, coupled with satisfyingly fast service. What makes it even better is that it doesn’t pinch your pocket at all.
