Utterly, Butterly, Delicious: The Butter Chicken At CP's Minar Restaurant Is A Must Try!

The information in this post might be outdated

What Makes It Awesome

Though there are several items on the menu here, our eyes can rarely move away from their Butter Chicken. Definitely one of the best in town or even India, it is not the usual tangy variety that you get everywhere but a nice buttery blend of tomatoes, onion, etc. You get boneless options at the same price and a half plate can serve 3-4 people adequately.

The place is crowded with people who have been coming here for several years, often found chatting with the owner. Raw onion tossed in chaat masala, green coriander chutney and shalgam-gaajar pickle are complimentary. The service is swift and they have one-and-a-half floor seating {the place above is really less}. The booze is quite cheap and they have a good range of starters to go with.

What Could Be Better?

This is an old family restaurant and it could definitely do with some refurbishing or renovation. The seating space is less and appears congested with the waiters running around within that space.

What's My Pro Tip?

Just head for the boneless Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan and a glass of fruit beer, you won’t be disappointed.

Anything Else?

This place is opposite the legendary Kake da Hotel near Odeon. There is parking available and within 30-meters you can choose between Naturals Ice Cream or a nice chilled sweet paan in front of Odeon for a sweet ‘dinner-after’.
