Habitat World is hosting the second edition of The Habitat International Film Festival. This will be over a period of 10 days, with more than 30 international films {including some that are featuring in India for the first time ever!}. The genres of the films range from drama to comedy, psychological thrillers, sci-fi and animation.

Who Is It For?
Anyone who enjoys alternative cinema. Film buffs who dig documentaries should especially take note of this. This festival will have films from Korea, Iran, Japan, Sweden among others. They’re also screening films that come under the NETPAC awarded film selection.
Why Should I Go For It?
There are going to be a lot of interesting films being screened at the festival. Italian Filmmaker, Sebastiano Riso will be coming for the festival the screening of his film Una Familia {being screened on 24}. Some films that are going to be screened, include Human Flow by Ai Weiwei, Blueberry Spirits by Astra Zoldnere, A Man Of Integrity by Mohammad Rasoulof {it won multiple awards including one at Festival de Cannes 2017}, and more.
They’re celebrating 100 years of Swedish director Ingmar Bergman’s films. There will also be a retrospective on the young German filmmaker Christian Schwochow. There’s no entry fee for the event but you can get the passes at the door itself. They will be screening a special selection of films for children at the festival, so you can make a family outing out of it.
