With work, responsibilities and a thriving social life getting in the way, physical fitness seems to have taken a backseat. Which is why we’re super pumped that Adidas Uprising is here, giving us the much-needed motivation to get back on the fitness bandwagon. We’re giving you the deets on some awesome workshops you can sign up for there. Are you ready to join the uprising?

Yoga

yogaIf you’re not a fan of high-intensity workouts that feel like self-inflicted torture, yoga is always a great alternative. Learn the basics in this yoga workshop, held by Sivananda Yoga Centre, before heading for work. The focus of these workshops will not only be your physical wellbeing, but also to incorporate asanas that can help you cope if you’re struggling with stress {who isn’t these days?}.

Yoga mats will be provided, so the only thing you need is comfortable clothing.

3D Pilates

pilates3D Pilates is an innovative form of Pilates that integrates movement science, ancient wisdom, and the basic principles of Pilates that work in combination to give you a safe, fun, and really effective way of working out. Vesna Pericevic Jacob, who is an author, Pilates & wellness expert, motivational speaker, clinical hypnotherapist, and healer, has created her own unique ‘Vesna’s 3D Pilates’, which you have the opportunity to learn at Adidas Uprising.

Training Bootcamps

featureIf you’re one of the fitter ones looking to physically challenge yourself, these bootcamps are the way to go. You’ll have to tackle warrior obstacle training, through a sequential course that will really put your entire body through the test. We promise this one will be highly intense. Are you up for it?

Timings: 7am onwards {Delhi}; 8am – 11am {Gurgaon}

 Zumba

zumbaZumba is a great way to lose a bunch of calories, without even realising it—just the way workouts should be, we think. Great for those of you who despise the treadmill, this Zumba workshop will incorporate lots of Latin dance moves, like salsa, merengue, and samba. Shwetambari Shetty, one of the four authorised Zumba ® professionals in the country, will be taking the workshop, so you’ll be in extremely talented hands. Go, join the dance party, we say!
