What Is It?

Love the forest even though you live in a concrete jungle? Worry not, the forest bathing workshop will give you the forest experience you need to cleanse your mind and body, while exploring nature bang in the middle of the city!

Forest bathing is a way to heal through the shinrin-yoku therapy {literally meaning forest bathing in Japanese}. It inculcates medicinal healing by stepping into a forest and breathing in the atmosphere there.

Who Is It For?

We think everyone influenced by negativity in the city should explore the forest nearby. It’ll help you heal from all that toxicity and generate some happy hormones. According to New Delhi Nature Society {the organisers} this workshop is also for people who want to cure themselves of tree blindness!

What Is It About?

It’ll be a holistic day of walking inside the forest, interacting with nature and clicking a lot of pictures of the natural habitat. It’s also going to help people to observe trees around them, something we fail to do on a daily basis in the city, hence suffering from tree blindness.

For more info check out the event here.

Anything Else?

It might get hot during the day so carry some water and a cap, and good walking shoes are a must. If you want to carry your fancy DSLR’s to click some awesome pictures, you’re more than welcome to. Contribution per person is INR 100.

An animal person who gorges on food, she loves the little attention the universe gives her. 60's flower child, nothing in life works for her without music. When you don't find her chilling with her streeties, her pug or her cat, she's probably wandering about the city or sitting with a book and/or a movie at home, trying her best to be evasive.
