Subhash, the bookstore owner, started selling second-hand books about 40 years back at shop number 1 of Janpath’s flea market. Today, it’s located inside a clothing store and can be easily missed. But once you enter it and look at the collection {Enid Blyton, John Green, E. L. James, Devdutt Pattanaik and many more}, you’re definitely likely to pick out something; because these pre-loved books start at just INR 25!
And once you’re done reading the book, you can exchange it for another one, or get 50% of your money back. Subhash came up with the exchange idea when he realised that students find it hard to afford books, but a deal like that makes sure that no one goes without reading a particular book because they can’t afford it.
