Summer is at its peak and my fluff ball was in desperate need to lose some fluff, hence I took him to The Pet Point in Punjabi Bagh for a proper trim and hygienic pampering session. It's almost always difficult to trust new groomers with your pet, especially with cats, since they are always ready to loosen their paws and snap. However, I was really amazed at how well the staff at The Pet Point handled not only my occasionally snappy cat, but also the big-ass doggies that needed some washing. Most pet groomers generally just shave the animal's fur off if there's even a single knot in sight {the end results are never appealing}, but these guys ensured they removed the knots and gave the cat an even trim, which did not end up making him look like a miniature lion gone bad. They also have their own veterinary clinic inside the store and provide the best range of products {shampoos, medicines, chew toys, teeth wipes, and even catnip sprays!}. What surprised me all the more, was that the place has the most reasonable products {I bought a cat carrier for INR 1,000, whereas I've always seen those priced over INR 2,500 at every other pet store}. The owner, a really helpful guy named Akshay, told me that they'd been in this business for over 15 years, and would love to propagate the idea that you don't have to spend a bomb to pamper your pet, it can all be done very reasonably. He also advised me on the right meal plan for my cats to ensure they remain healthy through the changing weather. Be it for kitty cats, or doggos, this place has just about everything a pet parent needs {my cat is still thanking me with the purrs}.
