Sunshine & Blooms: Spend An Afternoon This Weekend Surrounded By Flowers At This Garden Fest
What Is It?
Who Is It For?
If you get transported into a state of childlike wonder and amazement every time you see a beautiful and colourful flower, you’d better prep yourself to see a massive garden full of them. It’s also for anyone who’d like to click some amazing pictures, get mesmerised by natural fragrances, and get a dose of cultural activities.
Why Should I Go For It?
You’re literally going to be walking into a lush green garden, full of vibrant flowers and plants all around. There’s going to be a wide variety of flora you won’t quite find in the park next to your house—exotic, to say the least.
Get ready to treat your senses to a range of potted plants, flowers, a whole tree garden, cactus bonsai, cut flowers, flowers arranged in bird and animal shapes, and more floral wizardry. There’s also going to be Ayurvedic plants, organic plants, books, manure and more if the dormant horticulturist is getting the better of you. There’s also going to be a competition between 31 varieties of flowers!
For kids, there will be a painting competition, magic shows, food stalls {convinced yet?}, cultural programs, and other activities. We say you dust off your camera lens and make a day of it.
So, We’re Saying…
There’s going to be free shuttle service to and from Saket metro station, so we suggest you gather the squad {or your fam} and head to this garden festival.
