Ten-Second Takeaway

Check out RR Decor if you’re looking to add a splash of colour to your life—they offer great fabric for furnishings.

Who Are They?

With expertise in weaving handloom silks, RR Decor is an interior design firm that specialises in furnishings. They have a host of collections, many which are ideated over for a year or more before ever being released, and offers patrons a range of colourful options.

What Have They Got?

We found no less than 27 collections on their website. They have also recently released a new, 28th, collection titled Incognito. They have collections that are as colourful as a painter’s palate – such as the Collage and Buckingham sets – and they have simple, standout collections like the previously mentioned Incognito and the Ethnic selection.

What We Loved

We tended to gravitate towards RR Decor’s less in-your-face collections. Some of the coloured pairings were a little much on the eye. The pale simplicity of the Bayside collection caught our eye. We also liked the fabrics displayed in Marakkesh – colour, but not overdone, with a few interesting patterns – we could see ourselves using this in our home.

The white and light gold of the Mayan was eye-catching as well, as was the stripped down nature of the Oban. If you’re looking for a little more flair, then the Quba, Zinc and Zen collections would serve you well. Quba’s browns would go well in a living room setting, Zinc’s thin gold colours would shine in a bedroom, while the Zen collection {not for everybody} was unique in that in stood out immediately. There were shades of a light brown, a deep, royal purple, a metallic silver and some stripped grays. These colours might not flow together individually but the collection was intriguing and would look nice in a communal living space.
