Jim Corbett National Park, which is a 6-hour drive from Delhi, is my favourite getaway spot. The park offers you a natural treasure where you can spot wild beasts dwelling in the woods. It is a memorable moment for many to capture a sight of the furious Royal Bengal Tiger. Everything from the wilderness to the predators of the tigers makes Corbett a dream destination for umpteen of wildlife aficionados worldwide.
I stayed at the Tiger Den Resort while I was in Corbett and it was an amazing experience. The resort is full of adventurous options including indoor and outdoor games. They also have a swimming pool for all those who want to take a dip in the day.
I went for a morning safari along with some sightseeing that included a tour of a museum, Jim Corbett house and waterfall. The next day, I drove down to Nainital which is an hours drive from the place. My soul was absolutely soothed at the sight of lush grass fields and mountainscapes on the way. The route was as much a delight as the destination.
