The iconic Mughal Gardens are said to be the very soul of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Spread across 13 acres, the gardens are a riot of colour and fragrance, you can find more than 70 kinds of flowers here. These stunning gardens were designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, with a blend of Mughal and British styles influencing the layout. It resulted in a gorgeous blend of Mughal terraces and canals and European flower beds and hedges. So if you’re looking for some peace and quiet, take your family or bae for a quiet stroll and treat yourself to some of the most gorgeous {and rare} species of flowers, beautiful fountains and plenty of lush greenery. The Mughal Gardens are open to the public only from February to March and from this year {but don’t worry, they’ll be open from August to March}.
