Marks & Spencer has launched their global initiative Clothes Exchange Programme in association with the Goonj foundation. They’re encouraging people to donate their old clothes in return for gift vouchers. With a mission to promote sustainability, M&S is asking people to donate their old clothes instead of throwing them away. This particular programme by them has only recently come to India, and aims at reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfills and protecting the environment. All the clothes contributed will be reused and recycled by Goonj. So bring along all your old clothes, and get a voucher worth INR 600 for your contribution.
