New In Gurgaon, Late-Night Delivery Joint Bun & Base Does Yummy Burgers & Pizzas

Bun & Base is Gurgaon’s newest burger-and-pizza kitchen doling out combinations that are fresh, new and inspired by global cuisines. Though wait, there’s a couple of pastas and bacon fries too!

With a relatively thin crust and a perfectly balanced pizza sauce, Bun & Base does exciting toppings like Sichuan Chicken {with caramelised onions, sesame, honey and a glorious sunflower seed brittle for that extra crunch!}. If you’re into Asian flavours, don’t miss the Thai Chicken with a Thai curry mayo and peanut sauce.

Willing to experiment? The Pesto Pizza has spinach in the dough, while the pesto mayo makes it extra creamy! Another great option is the Pulled Pork pizza with jalapenos, basil and bacon jam. There are loads of options for vegetarians too and we loved The Bangkok that’s topped with pickled chillis and peanut brittle, as well as the 4 Cheese pizza.

There’s an All-American Empire State Burger {mutton or tenderloin} with all the frills, including onion, pickles and double cheese but the star of their burger menu is the Blue Chip Lamb. With a lamb patty, bacon, blue cheese, BBQ sauce, mushrooms, cheddar and a fried egg, this one is seriously sinful!

However, what we found the most unusual and yet super satisfying was the Old Delhi Chicken Qorma Burger {who’d have thought?} which was super aromatic and moist with pulled chicken, roasted garlic, nut brittle and a rogan-rich Qorma sauce.
