As reported by NDTV, the Govindpuri metro station has been given a facelift.
Agostino Iacurci, an Italian artist from Rome, has added some colour and flair to the metro station. The artwork is part of an initiative between St+art India and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation {DMRC}.
The project began on January 21, and is close to being finished. St+art India will maintain the artwork for the next five years. The DMRC has hinted at future projects, and we wholeheartedly hope they happen!
