The toys are taking over, people, and a front-runner in that movement is Hamleys. Apart from multiple stores spread across different cities, they have an online presence as well.
Hamleys is the world’s oldest and largest toy retailer and their stores are nothing less than entering the Toy Story world (we know you’ve always wanted to). They've got everything from soft toys, art and crafts supplies (think colouring books, stamps etc.), and dolls, to Lego sets, costumes, and jigsaw puzzles. The prices here start at about INR 400 for Hot Wheels' car sets and can go above 12K as well for giant teddy bears, a complete Lego building box, and the mini basketball set-up.
Now, you need to pick up the little one(s) in your arms and on piggyback, zoom over there, and enter the animated world full of teddies, dolls, cars, and games. Truth be told, there's actually a lot of cool stuff for adults as well: Think Pictionary, Monopoly, slimes and kinetic sand sets (oh yes!), Star War collectors' set, Foosball tables, giant bubble creators and more.
